What We Believe
The following statement summarises the core biblical truths that guide our church. These beliefs are not unique to us, but are held by millions of Christians around the world.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and the authoritative guide for life and faith.
The One True God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection and future return of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us for holy living, spiritual gifts and bold witness.
Humanity
We believe that all people are created in the image of God, but are separated from Him by sin and in need of salvation.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works — and is a gift from God.
The Church
We believe in the local church as the Body of Christ, called to worship, make disciples, serve and impact our world.
The Kingdom
We believe in the present and future reign of Jesus Christ, and our role in advancing His Kingdom on earth.
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life with God for the redeemed, and eternal separation from God for the unrepentant.
